Concert For Hope was conceived by Jim Wolf & John Miller, two Baltimore guys touched by cancer.   They wanted to plan a fun event that would benefit and raise awareness for HopeWell Cancer Support.  Jim & John are extreme live music lovers and wanted to share this passion in a meaningful way.  Together they came up with the idea of putting on a Concert with all proceeds going to HopeWell.

Concert For Hope is hosting its 2nd annual show and raises funds for HopeWell Cancer Support, a nonprofit organization that provides resources for individuals and their families touched by cancer – at no charge - in the Baltimore area. 

Last year over 450 individuals and families attended this event and raised over $10,000.  This year, the goal is to raise $25,000.  Merritt Properties has already signed on as title sponsor. 

Concert For Hope is run by an all-volunteer event committee, and over 25 volunteers participate at the concert.


    The music is provided by 3 bands who have agreed to play again for the 2008 concert.  The bands are Gypsy Dawg (7:15 p.m.), Mister Wilson (9:00 p.m.), and Ethyl & the Mermen (10:00 p.m.).
